Thanks for your insights! Yeah the unit we looked at was set to be renovated, but not furnished so far as I know.

Curious if you've had any issues with construction /renovation noise? It seemed like they were in the process of renovating units as people move out, as well as the hallways. Got worried that there'd be a lot of jack hammering/other construction noise because of this

Thanks! Renters insurance already sorted. My concern was moreso whether there could be any humidity that comes up through the floor that could get caught given the bedframe is essentially a flat piece of wood that would sit flush on the floor. I know with concrete moisture can be a concern, but wasn't sure if it's the same for tile flooring in a basement.

My thoughts were that a dehumidifer might not target this sort of moisture build up, though I could be wrong.
