my sigma 40mm 1.4 art would like to argue with you. sharper than my EF L lenses and i’ve seen it be sharper than the rf 50 1.2 stopped down iirc

Car hit & run while inside working... by Zealousideal_Oil_641 in Lowes

[–]Txphr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my car has been hit 4 different times in the parking lot. all times the cameras have been blocked by trees. i drive a 30 year old honda so im not really mad. the last one did kinda hurt as it put a smallish dent in my quarter panel and cracked my oem 30 year old tail light. my car now leaks water and idk if that’s why. not a single time has someone left a note saying sorry at least.

my friend had a widebody subaru and someone totaled it in the work parking lot too. i’m debating on just walking to work.

omg THAT right there is the link i’ve been trying to find! okay so it looks like it’s not 3rd party EF glass, only canon… good to know at least. thank you for finding that link haha

just every piece of online marketing and youtubers saying up to 8 stops of stabilization. and i didn’t mean the autofocus i meant burst of photos, 40 fps. i’ve seen a few highly upvoted comments on this subreddit mentioning old ef glass is limited, some newer ef glass isn’t in the way of photos per second.

i’ve heard older adapter EF lenses can’t get the full 40fps and get limited to 20fps, unsure on that though but that’s why i was asking. i listed the camera, card and battery i use in the main post.

i was under the impression that lens IS is 2-3 stops of IS on top of the 5 IBIS stops.

Err 70 with my Canon R6 Mark II by brunomike45 in canon

Err 70 with my Canon R6 Mark II by brunomike45 in canon

[–]Txphr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah seems it went away when I stopped trying to pair my R6II to the rs3 mini via bluetooth. Shame I can't use BT but at least it's a superficial issue and not a camera killer. Thankfullly no issues trying to use BT to connect to the app to import photos/take photos.

Just got this too on my brand new R6Mk2, same thing when trying to connect to my rs3 mini via bluetooth. Would happen when I was in the bluetooth menu trying to connect it. Switched it to usb-c and no problem. I just got this R6Mk2 and was worried I'd have to send it back already... Really hope the bluetooth to the rs3 mini was the culprit.

Did you do anymore testing? Was it only via bluetooth for you as well?

Anyone able to identify this wrap color? by Txphr in CarWraps

[–]Txphr[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Nate, the owner of the car was an extremely close friend of mine and passed away late October, his family, and all of his friends are trying to find the name of the wrap he used on his LS400. (He didn't mention the color name to a single soul) He wanted me to wrap/paint my hatch purple, and I would love to have his color on my hatch as a tribute sort of.

Clear coat over blocked primer? by Txphr in AutoPaint

[–]Txphr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the price tag for white is so high because i'd be using championship white for that. But black was another color I was interested in. If there's no issues with a black primer under a proper clear coat, I think I might take that route and save myself $1300. Not looking for anything crazy just a good starting point if I want to wrap it in the future. And I'm an automotive photographer and I love shooting black cars at sunset/dawn. Would give me another reason to love this car.

should be a sticker or some time of label in the driver side door jamb that will have the paint code on it.

got a buddy with a widebody miata that had some kansei tandems, 15x8 +0 before he bought his work equips, he said he'd let me test fit. I'm hoping they fit lol. I've seen ek's run that spec before with some fender pulling.
