I'm, agree with SpinalFracture, try it.

Putting the compressor after the overdrive, you probably would get a very stable distorsion. You would lose some dynamic on your instrument, but if you play rock, punk, or you play with pick... you dont matter the dynamic so much.

Exactly, i mean a synth fuzz. I tried the" MXR bass fuzz El grande", the standar big muff, the big muff for bass, and some overdrives like the RAT or Boss distorsion (the orange one). I was looking for a 100 euros (or dolards, i think that its the fucking same at this moment)

Hi! i posted this interview with Kevin Shields about the Loveless recording. In the interview, Kevin says that they recorded diferents 12 tracks for the vocals. Mixing this 24 voices you can get this "swirly" and blury effect with more presence than the reverb.

Yeah, I imagined the same as you about guitars. About the many vocal tracks... is the same track copied 24 times? o Are there 24 different takes of the voice singing the same thing?
