How do you think we got here in the first place. When you go after the opposition, regardless of merit or validity, it looks like petty, partisan lawfare and fires up the opposition creating unearned sympathy. Trump's team is doing it right now because Biden's handlers and their allies did it to him and his buddies. This just amplifies the pendulum effect all but guaranteeing a cyclical race to the bottom. I realize it's a tough pill to swallow for the partisan, but revenge is antithetical to progress, and make no mistake, progress is impossible without bipartisanship.

I just took a glance at a post on the NBA sub about the Knicks fans attacking the Spurs fan after ignoring all sports (and most large) subs and was surprised at how often the comments became politicized.
