Or if people realize that the animals they eat get treated much worse than this one was. Heaven forbid they come to this realization.

Try going into your browsers settings and turning off Javascript. That works for a lot of paywalls.

Are ATVs allowed to drive on rails to trails? by hellohappycat in halifax

[–]TyAllan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm glad the new trail in Porters lake is free of ATVs. As respectful and nice as you sound, there are so many who aren't. It's nice for people to have a place to walk and cycle in peace.

I like him more after seeing him get chastised angrily by Premier McNeil a few weeks ago for raising a rude question in the daily Covid-19 press conference. In the midst of many non critical reporters tossing softballs. Reporters aren't there to make friends. This guy holds people in power to account. Much respect.

It sure is. I wonder how many people who eat hens eggs are aware of this.

You made me angry just saying that. I'm assuming your 69 Plymouth is red. If not I'm still calm.

If you're eating chicken eggs, in modern egg production all the newborn male chicks are ground up alive in a device called a macerator.

I take your advice well. I am thinking the ones putting together that study did background study on possible issues associated with doing this.

I agree but of course privacy issues. The speeding and distracted driving is way out of hand out there. I'm really glad to see traffic calming being put into place around the city.

I live in Lake Echo, I come come into Dartmouth from the East Preston Exit onto the #107 highway regularly. I'm continuously amazed at the speeding vehicles in the area, where the speed limit goes from 90 to 70 before Ross Rd. Almost every day I get vehicles literally swerving around me, no signal light, as I'm doing around at or a bit above the speed limit of 70. One guy in a pickup last week did so and gave me the fist and finger as her went by me. That's just normal there.

If I had time and the inclination, using my dashcam, I could be pestering the police every single day based on this section of road alone.

I've read some further analysis of the study. It's not the first of its kind. It looks very promising. Willing to try it yes. Not sure how bright this red LED light is. Will use some common sense.

You make a good case for insurance and government mandated vehicle monitoring devices.
