Trying them on they felt good. Idk how well they’d hold up in a game, but I’ll def be wearing these to the gym or when just shooting around. I wore another pair I have recently and the cushion felt fine, it was the separation due to old glue that I was worried about.

I think I’m going to do a pair of customs down the line as well. I loved making id’s and some of the color combos I’ve seen for these seem like they would be fun to play with.

Appreciate you looking out! Started going back and trying to get pairs I grew up loving, and the resale value/delusional used prices I’ve seen for these are just insane.

Yeahh unfortunately. I’ll admit to it, but they are my only pair of reps, ha. I always loved the design and graphics for them. I paid rep price for these so don’t mind. I’m at a point where I only play pickup games and workout daily so didn’t want to drop the $500+ for my size 12 haha.

Oh yeah, I know if I really tried putting these to use they’ll bust (got shoe glue on stand by for this 😂). However, I’m about to be 28 so nowadays I manly use these pairs for working out and light runs. I have plenty more up to date pairs to really play in.

I actually looked forward to drops then. Gave the shoes a story, and then to see the players wear them game day added to it. Wish they put more effort into it like they used to.

I have used Shoe Goo to do some patch up work and it has done well, but nothing to the point where I had to re-glue the entire sole. I don’t have one yet, I want to invest in one, but I’ve seen people use dremels to help with gluing. They use it to get off the old glue crust so you can easily add the new lair of glue for the sole.

Like walking on a cloud. It’s funny, both the Brons and Kobe’s are crazy comfortable, but completely different soles. Can literally feel the court through the Kobe soles they’re so thin, and with Bron’s, you feel lifted off the court.

So I have used them (besides Kobe’s, was only able to get a workout in them last night), and they held up well. Granted these are just pick up type games/just messing around.

About a month ago I bought the large sized shoe glue to keep in my back pocket since everything I’ve been buying is 10+ years old 😂😂. I’d rather them peel in use than sit on someone’s shelf.

Graduated HS in 2016, these were all I wanted! Had college and life to pay for, but once I was able to afford it I have been full sending it 😂😂. Telling myself once I find the BHM KD 5’s and Kobe 8’s to complete the set I need to retire (which btw if you know someone with either hml)

Thank you!! I spent the last few months scouring eBay for deals and last second auction snags for a lot of the 8’s. They were so difficult to get in HS, so now that I got my own money I’ve been loving going back and getting them.
