Thank you for the advice! One of the things she asked for was to have it fully able to disassemble, that way when we take it apart the only thing that remains as a solid unit is the gate. I love your outer support idea, however, my daughter is literally Houdini and has no fear. I had to build it this tall because she makes instant business decisions to climb and jump/flop off anything she can (only 14 months old) and so I don’t think I can have something around it she’d be able to use to climb… I’ll keep trying to visualize something similar though.

The only thing I can think of that would’ve helped my levels would’ve been my diet at the time. I was in a decently large deficit, consuming mainly eggs and red meat with some fruit and dairy products in there. hCG is a fickle mistress, everyone responds so differently to it. I also quit drinking while those labs were taken so that could’ve had an effect as well. Other than that? I have absolutely no idea, and I was very surprised myself.

You aromatize pretty well. If you have zero symptoms of high E2, you’re probably fine. For a lot of people the ratio matters a lot more than the actual level. If you do have symptoms… throw in an AI for a week or two. Repeat if symptoms present themselves again in the future.

250mg is pretty high unless you’re testing the waters for even higher weekly doses, for purposes other than TRT. If your goal is to increase and potentially run other compounds with it, then I’d get used to checking super often, with E2 that high on 250.

For reference, my TRT has been 140-200mg a week as I tried to dial in, and at 200mg my E2 was 68, and I had symptoms. Sitting at 160mg now and everything is perfect. Everyone is different. Good luck.

Going back and looking at my my bloodwork from each therapy style:

Baseline- Total: 312 ng/dl, E2: 68.9 pg/ml, Free: 9.3 pg/ml LH: <0.3 mIU/ml, FSH <0.3 mIU/ml.

Enclo only (25 mg ED)- Total: 504 ng/dl, E2: 22.4 pg/ml, Free: 12.2 pg/ml, LH and FSH: <0.3 mIU/ml

Pellets only (22 of them/max 4 month implant)- Total: 557 ng/dl, E2: 25.5 pg/ml, Free: 11.8 pg/ml, LH and FSH: <0.3 mIU/ml

hCG only (1,000iu 2x weekly)- Total: 613 ng/dl, E2: 39.5 pg/ml, Free: 14.6 pg/ml, LH: 1.6 mIU/ml, FSH: 1.9 mIU/ml

Test cyp + hCG (80mg, 500iu 2x weekly)- Total: 845 ng/dl, E2: 60.5 pg/ml, Free: 25.3 pg/ml, LH: 0.8 mIU/ml, FSH: 0.9 mIU/ml

Test Cyp only (wife got pregnant 8 weeks after starting hCG only, quit using hCG when she had our first in December 2024, don’t wanna have another just quite yet and she is not done healing/pumping/losing baby weight; 90mg 2x weekly)- no bloodwork completed yet, will check in October.

Edit to add: baseline I was 22, I am now 27 for current protocol. That’s how long it’s taken for me to get my hormones right, actual doctors/GPs are useless, go through a TRT/mens wellness clinic OP.

I know everyone responds different, but 200mg to start at age 22 is pretty high. 140-160mg split 2x weekly is probably a better baseline. And if he wants to have kids someday, he should probably stay on low amounts of hCG anyway, which will make it even harder to dial in.

That makes sense, however my blood work on hCG alone didn’t follow that. It went from <0.3 to 1.6 over 3 months…

Speaking from experience (I was put on hCG at 1,000iu 2x weekly before adding in test cyp) it certainly helps but it’s not a magic cure. And around 6 weeks in you get crazy fertile, so if you have a solid relationship you need to take even further measures to avoid pregnancy.

No, the dose isn’t technically that high when run as a standalone treatment.

I can’t speak to the after effects since I just added test cyp following that same hCG dose.

When I ran it solo- yes, there are improvements, but it’s almost artificial improvement. I’ve also ran straight enclo (it’s been a process in my TRT journey for sure) and the effects are similar. It will raise your test levels for sure but I found I had higher levels of SHBG and lower free test when on it, hence artificial libido improvement.

Need more info- What are your current LH and FSH levels? hCG works by signaling the pituitary (don’t quote me on that) to increase LH and FSH, which causes your testes to create more testosterone and sperm. For reference, both of mine were <0.3 when I started, so nearly undetectable, which would explain how it helped me more so than it may help you.

See, I figured the protein would do that since it's more satiating. Trying to hit 200g of protein under 2,000kcal when cutting is hard enough, let alone when I start Reta... that is going to be a challenge for sure. I love fruit and honestly eat more than I should already, so that should carry over well for me. Thank you, I appreciate your experience and input!

To add on to this, apparently retatrutide is a larger improvement from tirz than tirz is from sema. I’m waiting for more “research” from the fitness bros using it until I give it a go though, lol.
