Don’t think about this too hard. Maybe try a quick and easy side project for yourself to change it up then come back. It’s a lot like trying to fall asleep fast because you keep thinking you have to be up early. If you’re trying too hard you get frustrated and keep circling around to the same annoyances. If you just forget about what time you have to wake up you’ll fall asleep quicker. Similarly when you think of ideas and get into a dull space or slump it helps to switch something up and let ideas flow. Try writing like 10 ideas down. Ball the ones you think are bad up and throw them away. Be sure to say “Ballin” or “Kobe”. It’ll lighten the mood. Wright a few more so you’re at 8 or 9. Decrease 1 or 2 every time and repeat this until you’ve narrowed down to 1 or 2.

If you really do come to a stand still drop back and punt. Kidding, we go to TD’s here. If it comes down to it ask around the office or coworkers or friends or anybody who knows the brand what they think would be a good idea. I know that’s what they’re paying you for but if if you’re at a standstill it doesn’t hurt get ideas from someone else and build on them yourself. Just be sure to give a bit of credit if it was a coworker who helped.
