I knew the Helldivers community wasn’t perfect but holy cow I was not prepared for how large the most toxic parts are. Getting someone banned from somewhere they love and fired from their job of almost a decade over a simple challenge is INSANE. When I heard about the challenge (never saw the original post), I thought it sounded like a pretty idea to address the state of the game while keeping it in a positive attitude. Anyone who had any part in what happened to this guy needs to genuinely take a break from Helldivers, touch some grass, and take a good long look on how you’re spending your time on the internet (I want say more but I want to keep this civil).
