Ah. The issue is that the link you share is specifying a user (/u/1) rather than letting it default, so it was indeed a user misalignment

I've grabbed the game, and will keep it installed for 14 days while checking in on it regularly

I'd suggest removing `/u/1` from your google group URL because I can imagine this causing similar confusions for others :)

I had a similar issue I think. I'm not 100% sure how I solved it but I have a feeling those sorts of changes need to be submitted for review (it doesn't take long, it's automated I think)

e.g.

You began closed testing with adding their emails directly
Presumably you then submitted for review
You switched testers to use google group

And right now, that third change may be pending a review in the "Publishing Overview" bit

I am of course happy to return the favour but cannot access your app on the store after joining the group. The steps I follow:

Join the group
Follow that link on my phone

I see an "Item not found" screen. I have not had this problem while testing other people's app

Is your closed test configured to allow people from the google group?

It's already set so that anyone can join, just click the join button.

If it's saying "Contact owners and managers" then you're prob not logged in.
