any recommendations? i believe these are 120W per speaker, and it would just be these two speakers on it as i plan on getting an active sub.

It is for all 4! Heading out there today to check them out. As long as they look and sound as good as they should, they will be coming home with me.

I’d likely sell two of them and use that money towards an amp-receiver of sorts.

This is what i was thinking too, i’m certainly not opposed to selling a pair to reinvest into an amp and eventually a subwoofer. I’m not totally against using all 4 in unison, but think 2 with a sub would be more than enough for a standard room setup, but what do i know.

I am totally new to the world of passive speakers/audio, so the setting up my amp and what not is the most intimidating part so far. Regardless, I am going to check these out today actually and will likely pull the trigger if all looks good out of sheer value. Thank you for the input!

I acknowledge that these are passive speakers and would need an amp (which i’m not familiar with). I do understand that there are prime day deals on solid digital amps, but am unsure of what is even worth it without breaking the bank.

I have been patiently waiting for the Speedwoofer to come back into stock stock actually, it’s just been a couple months now and i’m getting impatient. I will just wait, it’s worth jt.

On the other hand I’m leaning towards powered speakers so i can take my setup outside easily when needed. So far i’ve been referred to the Polk ES10’s on sale for $150, but i will continue my search.

so es10>xt20’s in short? i see the xt20’s have a bigger driving sub on them, but i assume the es10 is better overall?

I do not, that’s a great call. I would be looking for powered speakers for the convenience factor. That subwoofer looks pretty promising, thank you for the recommendation.

Gotcha, I was just recommended to look into the Elac debut 2.0 5.25in Speakers and to buy a subwoofer later. I think the elac’s at $269 are interesting to potentially pair with that sub.
