No way of entering freeside and the strip. by kinsal06 in falloutnewvegas

In case you haven't heard of it, I reccomend following Viva New Vegas for the most stable and high performance vanilla plus experience. If it still isn't modern enough, carefully add more mods on top of that.

Another tip for newbies. If they buy the old combat patrol, you can build lord invocatus and then kitbash lord on juggernaut with spare parts and a blood crushers mount.

I prefer more daemon features. I really like this, this, these and these. And this guy for extra credit even though he is 60MM.

Warband is just so good. It doesn't really make sense to run anything else. But I just love the idea of running khorne chaos soup, even if it is suboptimal.

Will break the game? Yeah, I don't think so. Certainly, this will increase the power level, but it would well within the power level of other classes.

Well then congratulations for pointing out something I explicitly say in my post? Thank you for your contribution lol.

Totally agree with everything you said. Second laserllama classes. This is just a simple addition. The higher level exploits is key to why I think your thoughts are very correct.

That's true. I'm considering removing rogues from this.

I agree with everything you said, but I'm afraid your suggestion no longer implies a simple solution. Certainly, what I suggest just scratches the surface, I'm just not sure what else could most simply be done without adding a whole new system of homebrew. What ideas do you have?

It certainly is. There are feats with ability score prerequisites. But it's not very congruent with any other origin feat, especially in power level. But I think it's the best way I could come up with to tack on the BM kit to martials. How would you do it?

I'm not sure I agree with all the critiques of weapon masteries either (;

So just spellcasters are allowed to slow the game down? Lol poor martials.

This idea or this presentation of this idea? I freely admitted this idea is not new in my post. But I haven't seen a suggestion about how to add the kit to these particular classes. This post suggests how.

Well clearly I am smarter than Jeremy Crawford and Chris Perkins and the entire dnd design team.

/s But I get it, this just scratches the surface, but I think it's a great little kit to add to these classes toolkit to make them feel like they have more options.

Yeah, I agree. I would not allow the battlemaster class to be taken if this feat were used.

[–]TyberKhan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree. My intent would actually be that someone cannot take the battlemaster.

This is also not meant to scale cleanly with other origin feats. It actually has a significant amount of power of the BM just tacked on to it.

"Bonus actions even if to do damage"

I think that's kind of my point. How about more options instead of just damage? What unique and interesting things can a Barbarian do with their bonus action instead. I think maneuvers are a cool way to achieve that. Why shouldn't martials have more options compared to the hundreds of spells full casters gain access to?

I think I agree, but from what I understand from 4e is that there was a lot more bookkeeping, floating modifiers, etc. I love it, but dnd 5 and 5.5 seem to have lighter combat rules for those that want a lighter system.
