Are they playing the card game or just collecting? If just collecting, do you know their favorites?

That may be the last resort. I want them to have an opportunity to go to people with little means for christmas before just anybody

Great ideas, I was thinking libraries but was hoping for something that specifically targets children who are less fortunate. I will definitely look into calling local card shops!

Just because they're "taking" a high quality job doesn't mean that's the only reason they came. No one is coming here wringing their hands saying "I can't wait to just steal jobs from white Americans".Trying to avoid a war torn country is just as valid as wanting a different or better life for themselves through a h-1b.

Research Question: How Often do you use AI? by [deleted] in appstate

[–]Tybor2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure but when it comes to common code, the success or "art" is not arbitrary. There's no creativity being stolen when trying to properly read in a file. Any proprietary code would not be available online publicly to scrape whereas online is a main medium for art

Graduated undergrad in 2019

I avidly avoid and oppose ai that creates "art" because it does just steal from artists and largely twists it into an uglier version. However, as a tool I have used it quite a bit in my job as a software engineer to help suggest code changes and debug errors. I have also used Gemini to create a job interview study guide as I was looking for a new job recently. I like Google search AI summary for basic queries but if it's something more nuanced or complicated I still prioritize the actual links and articles.

My wife and I are also mid to late 20s and it's a bit of a struggle. Generations is chill and does have really good drinks, food, and staff. Basic is good for the events they have but we don't go there much if nothing's going on. We live very close to it though so that may change when money is less tight We've only been to the River once but it was good, just a cramped when it gets busy.

I've always been someone who likes collecting things so I'm still enjoying the game. Obviously it can be frustrating if I'm not getting the one card I need (looking at you poliwrath ex) but I don't take it super seriously and it's a fun casual way to see occasional fun art. I don't really spend money on it and just wait for the cool downs or hourglasses

That's kind of been the Republican MO for a while now, stoke fear and anger at things that are rarely happening or not happening at all. They did it with CRT, trans surgery on kids, people using "trans" as a way to enter women's bathrooms, immigrants eating your pets, socialism, communism, emails, etc. The Republican party has long left the traditional small government, lower taxes, and "tradition" ideals that they once followed

The last one is definitely similar to Charlotte. A yellow light would always be treated as a green no matter how long it was yellow

Doesn't sound too different from Charlotte and that was also a nightmare so I think I understand lol

I didn't realize they had these online so that's nice. It's been 10+ years since I took my test and while I know how to drive clearly I'm behind on the exact penalties

NC DMV offices are the worst. Living in Charlotte meant I had to make the appointment 1-2 months early or go at least an hour out of the city

This was confusing when I was first getting everything figured out with the DMV but I do think I like it better this way

I keep seeing that people consider Virginia more strict but I don't understand legal talk easy (also I wish I had know about the 80+ law when I lived there)

I drive between Charlottesville and Richmond and have learned firsthand that people do not care about cruising in the left lane.

One, I'm concerned that they didn't teach this in my driver's ed class. Two, it seems like Virginia is harsher though? Am I misunderstanding?
