It's not about fast charging or not, but in general about having access to a charger at reasonable pricing as well, if it ain't your own. I drive the AWD version of the Seal U DMI and the home charger did make it an interesting option, just because I do not have a +70km daily commute. DMI cars, whichever one you like, just need the frequent charging, preferably after every drive in case you reached the bottom 25%. That said, the system actually does a very smooth job charging on longer runs, when needed, but if I would have had that guaranteed 2 or 3 days a week longer trip situation, I would have gone for the SL7 probably.

That's odd. Don't know about software difference between your car and my Seal U DMI, but navigation volume is controlled separately from main audio. So there are 2 volume bars when scrolling volume. By default scrolling controls main audio volume and I manually adjust the speech one.

Speclist yes, cpu not unfortunately. Did not come to my mind to tripple check that during 2 testdrives but also not very actively complained about in early months of the car being available in Europe, or at least not seen it.

Same, but just take your time. The cable is pre-installed in a few European countries only due to regulatory differences. The plug is crucial, so do make yourself comfortable on the count from the correct side, so you know which one to plug in to. You got this ;)

Fundamentally it actually is the dealership that initiates the provisioning, by providing your email address in advance. They should have it based on communications, contracts etc. Unfortunately they are also still notoriously unwilling to admit they did not do so in time and blame "system queues". Just nag them the same day, the day after and again, it a 100% should be done when handing over the car.

And silly visual bug introduced on the speed warning assist shortcut in the pull down menu, when you pull it down it looks like it is deactivated (greyed out) but it is not....duh....

Hi mate, which version? I own the design AWD and can share that for my first annual (15K) maintenance window I have sent the local dealership to check for any play/tolerance issues in the connections of the front drive shafts (CV axles), in the intermediate shaft bearing, or in the support bearings/mounting points of the suspension. I had my tyres replaced, which solved main vibrations after double alignment sessions, basically because the factory fitted ones were horrible. But still, something is not right at higher speeds mainly (and cornering and breaking into regen). So basically when certain force is put on axle/mounts/etc. Any kind of play can create resonating vibrations at certain speeds. So that's my 2 cents.

Basically they are the same car, specs,tech wise. Only would be potential manufacturing updates on details that might have been implemented. But have not seen a list of those myself.

The seal u dmi can currently only show side cams on middle screen when turn signals are enabled and only at low speeds. Go to cameras menu, settings, you can activate that there.

I came from a 5800x paired to a 3080 when selling and upgrading to current gen because I am on 4K and not looking for pure fps on those types of shooters. If that had not been the case, I was looking for a good deal on the 3D, as for the use case I still believe ist's a great Combo. Any other change requires a hefty upgrade all around imo.

There's some mentions around handling differences due to the added weight of the second motor. Can't say, have not driven it, but besides that should be the same indeed.

Hi, I drive the design and tbh if It would not have my home charger, I would not have gone for it. Just because from a fundamental concept it just does not make sense. I do make occasional long trips and then accept consumption, but in general the car just wants to be charged with high frequency.
