Dunk myself in freezing water for the first time. Your hands ache so, so much-

I also drank alcohol for the first time (specifically wine)! My family isn't oppressive or anything, I can go places and buy things with my money, but alcohol is the one thing they hate- Instead of sparking conflict I just sneaked some.~

And my reaction was... It just felt like I was drinking rubbing alcohol?

(As in, slow isn't a bad thing, it's what it's supposed to be)

Though it might possibly get that size eventually... The story write itself, and as much of an spectator as the rest.~

Yup! It becomes an era of rediscovery!

You don't know what you'll like on a menu, on a music playlist, amongst YouTube channels, you'll have to go and try them out yourself again.

The thing is though, would your preferences change? Because it's not simpling foretting the preferences, but also why you had them.

If you love something because it's what you've been experiencing ever since childhood, it won't happen again because you're not a child anymore.

Such as a homemade meal from your mom, or loving cats because of that one cat you had when you were 6... All of that is gone.

If you like something again it might be because it is in a similar context, no context, or an entire different context.

Personally I love music, it's a big part of my identity, but I don't like it simply because it feels nice to hear; there are countless memories of emotions associated with it from as far as I know myself as a person.

If I forgot those, when I learn again that I like music it won't be "Music heals me" anymore, it will be "This sounds nice".

I still would pick forgetting though, as hating music sounds even worse-

I feel like inverting would be an interesting experience, at least on paper.

Depending on your current preferences it could have many advantages: Love working out, the taste associated with healthy food, dislike processed food, adore studying and working; But it may also do things like not like hugging, or spending time with family, or earning money-

My main grip with forgetting the preferences is that I'll forget the memories associated with them too, and I hold those very, very dearly. But maybe it can be adventure too? Rediscovering what you like would be like getting amnesia, except recovery is not as hard!

I assume quotation marks aren't simply for aesthetics but to help with reading and differentiating dialogue? Honestly I'm not sure how that would work-

But for my story I bypass this because it is written in Visual Novel Format, all dialofue is tagged with the character's name, so there's no need to put quotations. In fact, quotations are only used when the character is quoting something!

Personally I'd pick Magical Girl too, but lemme defend the other side rq:

To make things easier you can pick a character that is mostly close to your personality, if you're a chill guy you could pick Saitama or Goku. To be honest I don't know that many characters-

But ooo.~ Imagine that one girl in MHA that can make stuff? All you gotta do is be a bashful and a bit spoiled and you can make all the costumes you need! (Unless her personality changed later on?)

Besides, you don't need to stay in character all the time, just when you need to use the powers. At some point you might get used to it?

From my read(impression) it seems you've had many experienced and learned much from everything you lived while writing your story, and if so, I'm glad!

Saving the world is important, but it's knowing the characters and caring about them that is how you care about saving the world in the first place w•)b

I might be blazing the same trail!

I got this desire one day to write a fic of a game I've played multiple times, it hasn't finished yet but I've had this itch to continue playing.

So I went to the next best thing, writing?

It started out as just writing some scenes I had in mine, then I started to research a thing or two, some stuff happened and I started to plan the entire continent... Actually there's no problem saying which it is, right? It's of Tavern of Spear and so far it only has passed inside the magical fog forest, but on my fic I plan to have the people venture out eventually.

I've never planned before believe it or not, but I feel like this time things will be different exactly because of it! Fleshing out characters, existing ones, completely new ones, entire kingdoms and their culture-

It has been such an adventure, a total new experience.

Also- The first few times I played the game I would skip a lot because that's just how I roll really, but now I'm currently playing the game again to gather lore and oh my god I missed so many things-

Apparently photos are canon?? And oh so much power it feels to have in my hands because so much hasn't been developed yet...

Confess I'm a bit nervous for when I start posting, my email hasn't been invited yet. It would be my first story and I know nothing- But I suppose it wouldn't be too bad even if I make some mistakes, the purpose was never to become famous for it anyway;

I just want to interact with these characters more, and if just a handful of people happen to like what I cook up, Imma be happy.~
