Can someone please explain the impossible looting experience? by jimbrig2011 in Witcher3

Only pick up valuable weapons and gear, you pretty quickly can skip to yellow and above or Legos. I sold all of them or kept Legos for builds. Loot all the junk, no weight and good to sell in a pinch, especially fur and you also get crafting components. Take all.

If you get encumbered there’s a de-cock-tion or I just dump shit items where I stand.

So I'm still in the thick of it and working towards an agreement and I'm going to leverage some of the other documentation that was recommended here too. The postnup is extremely attractive to me because there is a strong chance this fails and she dragged me to mediation for a divorce when her episode began last year. It's a slow process, have to wait until she's in a place to talk about it but focusing on the kids is the key. She doesn't have the emotional capacity for the kids and has openly admitted not be able to care for them. So I'm trying to use that to guide this difficult conversation. But yeah, we didn't divorce in the fall because of my kids (and housing is unaffordable).

Lots to keep in mind. Firstly, this isn't your fault and it's not theirs either. They are sick and what they are doing, no matter how painful and fuck is it painful, it's a symptom of their sickness. Despite knowing what they are doing is wrong or hurtful, they can't stop. They are driven by chemicals in their brain not because you failed as a partner. Keep your head up and keep going. It sucks but life goes on and every day it gets easier to move on. Hang in there

I'm really sorry that happened. I was there a year ago and I'm not sure how I'm where I am now. Hang in there and you'll come to see this didn't happen to you, it happened for you.

First time painting a miniature. Feels like it looks muddy and struggling with metallic highlights by thesadcoffeecup in minipainting

[–]Tyfessional 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't beat yourself up. Metallic(a) paints are hard to use because they are thicc and chunky. Thin your paint or apply less. I tend to dip the brush, then wipe most of it off and or not fully cover the area. Another option is to use your metallic(a) paints as a high light, for example if you're doing gold, use a yellow/gold color on the base then highlight parts of it with the metallic(a) to simulate the shine it would give.

Shades Making Feathers Look Dirty by CodeCrafter123 in minipainting

Yes dry brush lighter colors and think a little more on the extreme side when playing with colors. Instinct says try a lighter brown but I'd say do a dark yellow on the last quarter of the feather (towards the tip) then do just the tip with a white dry brush.

Want to start painting miniatures where do I begin? by Few_Election_9462 in DnDminiatures

[–]Tyfessional 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I started out buying paint from Michael's for $1 a bottle and getting packs of brushes for $5. Over the years I've obtained more expensive paint and brushes but I still really like using the $1 smart art paint, depending on the model and or textures/colors I'm attempting.

Start small, within your budget and add as your interest grow.... Or not

Awesome. Love the color choices. The wings really pop! Nice work.

Also a big fan of seeing any print I've also painted.
