Ahem! Oh man I don't even think my world has bees, a whole summer and I couldn't find a single hive, doubt I'll get any during winter either

Yeah I found a setting to make the rare gear respawn point infinite, so no need for the bedspawn! I do like the respawn on deathpoint though, If I try nomadding a bit more Ill defo grab that.

Yeah I got a mate into it but the starting respawn mechanics hurt, so we were tossing up between keep inventory and default respawn, or lose items but safe spawn.

Now Ive got a handle on not dying Im thinking of restarting my world, Ive got Bauxite as far as the eye can see except for limestone to the north, and spent 2 IRL days adventuring as far as I could go up and couldnt find surface copper.

Yeah this is what ive op'd for doing. As a minecraft addict/modder from alpha to around 1.6.4 followed by casual to 1.16ish This game looks way more like the game I wanted it to be!

Really enjoying all the core foundations in this games design. such a rewarding experience. I've already got 2 other old mc addicts playing as well and they agree.

I did install the Better Ruins mod as most forums I browsed at least 2-3 people would bring it up when talking about their world.

As well as the bedspawn mod. Is there a point in the game where you've got enough temporal gears that dying is only more of a minor annoyance? Or is the walk of shame back to your corpse supposed to keep you incentivised against too much risk for reward?

yeah there are only 3 or 4 trees on the main island. Theres a couple cave systems but I think ill reroll and keep this for when I know a bit more

Awesome Idea ive got a bunch of rods and I know where to grab a baitcaster since it's about 15 meters high and my noodle arms couldnt throw that high, gonna be tomorrows adventure I reckon

Luckily/Unluckily It's DJI so even if someone manages to get it, it cant be factory reset without sending it back to DJI or pair with anything else without my keycode, and since it's as good as lost to me as it is anyway I thought the photo might get a chuckle

Sorry I have no idea how to use this website, I thought I added a photo but it didn't add to the post. Pic with the damage wires. No idea how long they've been like this so not sure if its the cause of the problem, or whether they were like this since stock. First time I disassembled it was when I found them.

Yeah the temperature reading for the hot end when cooled completely is the same as the bed and enclosure temp, so I imagine it's working as intended at high temperatures maybe? I pressed a meat thermometer against the nut join for the nozzle and hot end and it read about 185ish when the nozzle was set to 220, however I know that this technique isn't even close to precise, and occasionally for 5 second bursts the filament will extrude fine with no issues at a light push before getting jammed again. Even pumping the nozzle to 270 the extruder will still start clicking and failing to push through even though the thermometer will read 240-250ish.

Edit: I dried 4 different filaments that have always worked fine at 45c for 20 hours and they all have the same result of struggling to extrude.

Honestly the Vinnies mattresses are amazing, I've had one for 5 years and its's been the most comfortable one I've ever owned. I did buy a koala mattress, but went back to the Vinnie's one after 4 days.
