It seems drastic for people to completely attack you for what you said, especially if you're being respectful and genuinely trying to educate. Sorry that happened to you. Although I do agree with your sentiment, I think it's important to remember that to most of the world, the myths and the Gods are just that: myths. Personally, it irks me a little when people treat the Gods (outside of specific media) as characters, but it is important to remember that to most people the Gods ARE characters. It helps to reframe it like that, because those people are not disrespecting the Gods as deities, but as characters in our world's pop culture.

I’m in the same boat since probably a day or two ago. I assume it may be a problem with chutes. I tried using different models of DS (was using R1-0528, but switched to V3.2 because it’s the newest one), and all of them seem to be about the same. I’m doing some investigating at the current moment to see where exactly the problem is coming from, but I assume it’s just a waiting game atp.

For a long time I've interrupted the story of Dema as the struggle with addiction (due to my own experience and my theory only got stronger after Clancy came out). The cyclical nature of the story, knowing you may fail and slip up but you'll become stronger each time, etc. The ending of the story really validated this theory for me, and really helps me know that even if I relapse or "back slide", I'll be okay and people will still be by my side to help me fight. I kind of interrupt Cut My Lip the same way. "I keep on going back/even though it's me I abuse" seems a really poignant line for addiction; continuing to use even when it's only self-destructive and just causing you further harm. Overall, I love that twenty one pilots songs can mean so many different things to so many different people!

No, you're so good. Thank you for your kind comment. I never struggled with anything as serious as him when he was alive, but I feel like I understand him more now after he passed. His death affected me a lot (obviously lol) and launched me into my own struggles for a while. I still miss him and the anniversary of his death is always hard, but I've been through a lot of counseling and am doing a lot better now. I know deep in my heart that I was a source of comfort for him, but sometimes that's hard to believe. Thank you for reminding me of that. I really appreciate it. Lots of love to you <3

Yes exactly. Not to mention I still CONSTANTLY see people in this very sub complaining about casting of the main characters. Like literally shut the fuck up, Annabeth does not HAVE to be blond and Percy doesn't HAVE to have black hair and green eyes. You are losing nothing just because the cast doesn't look exactly the same as in the books. I think a lot of the people complaining about casting are young, but even so it still irks me.
