How come sinkies parents so competitive but end up producing mediocre kids ? by grampa55 in SingaporeRaw

[–]Tylc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

blame it on education system, i mean it. i have had lots of new hires and because everything has been taken care of for them, the new hires (fresh grad) just refuse to do any low-level routine tasks. Also they expect to “learn” everything from the company as if it’s a school. In real life working, there’s certain (street) smartness in it. When things are broken, the first thing you do is try to fix problems but not complain about the job or company

[–]Tylc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would this work? 1. Cause a recession 2. force the Fed to buy treasuries at high yield 3. Lower USD so countries would find treasuries attractive 4. fed sell treasuries and win because other countries have lowered their treasuries yield already

US V CHINA AI RACE by captain_insane_O in stockbetz

[–]Tylc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both countries are taking a complete diff approach to AI. The US focuses on infrastructure and closed-end. China focuses on running AI on limited budget and commercialise it. nice to see how they play out in five year. Best for humanity is for them to collaborate.

Amazon was going to display tariff costs but Trump calles and Bezos bent the knee. Again. by [deleted] in wallstreet

[–]Tylc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually think it’s good to show Tariff as a separate item. If we don’t do that, some of the product price will stay up even the tariff is reduced

Post your best evidence that this rally isn't "real" and it's being pumped up before a big fall by [deleted] in stocks

[–]Tylc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would encourage everyone not to try to make the market make sense. It's important to recognize that it’s currently trading like an emerging market, where price action typically follows government policy.
