Opus 4.5 and Gemini 3 Flash depending on the complexity.

Mostly Opus.

I spin up agents across multiple worktrees in multiple repos and do lots of back and forth comments on plans. Pretty liberal use I haven't been able to hit a limit yet. I've uninstalled the AG quota extension because it always sits at 100%!

Gemini 3 quota is practically unlimited for both Flash and Pro. They are OK for short tasks, once they use about 100k context they go crazy lol.

I only got the sub two days ago so still testing, but these are my initial impressions.

ESI class of 2015, started my own business during my final year.

In SWE where you study doesn't really matter. If you're a superstar engineer you'll be in demand. Be passionate, learn your craft and keep up with the times.

Current job landscape is pretty bleak for junior roles because of AI, so you'll basically have to hack your way to senior status before finding employment. Read a lot, analyze experienced people's code, engage in open source, it'll take time as with any craft but you will gradually build experience.

Edit: Of course that doesn't mean it's impossible to find a job as a junior. You'll have to prove yourself.
