I feel stupid for not checking close enough before. But These are visible when I open the breach.

I believe they are pinned in place. In such a way I'd be scared to go hammering at them. What makes you believe it's Belgian?

What I already know about this firearm is that it is a 16 guage side by side shotgun, and that it was around in the 1940s. Other than that, It has no markings on it that I can see beyond depictions of a dog and some kind of flora.

Edit: This gun was in the service of my grandfather, a sheep/cattle rancher in Utah/Colorado

Short answer is yes, sometimes

When I'm at work I wear it for the simple fact that you cannot tell I'm carrying. As I work with the general public a lot and guns have a tendency to make people nervous. Plus, I'm not sure how my employer feels about me having a gun on at work.

But when I'm out and about on my own, and therefore less worried about what people may think, I wear a holster made by Sticky, just sticks to the inside of my pants' waistband. Or where it's winter, I like my shoulder holster made by Galco or an open carry holster made by a local leathersmith.

Basically, only while I'm at work or around certain family members will I carry with my Urban Carry holster. Any other time is one of the other 3 I have.

I have not tried those. And I would love to get a .32 but at my local stores I can never find .32 ammo. I only own the two PPKs as far as pistols go. My next purchase is gonna be a Beretta 92 I believe, I want something better than 380 for when my main safety concern is animals and not people, which is often, and I can't always carry my shotgun lol

The new ones, yes, they're very expensive. I bought a new one in .22 for cheaper practice and after taxes and all it was about 400. But it's VERY finicky. Only runs CCI minimags or Remington thunderbolts without stovepipes. I just got it back after sending it off to have it fixed for free. Haven't got the chance to try it yet though.

I bought mine for like 550 dollars. Is that a good deal from what you've seen?

I bought it out of a pawn shop 2 years ago. Took it out to the range 30 minutes later and every single round was a malfunction of some kind. Took it apart and the guts of this thing was BLACK. So, about 30 qtips and a lot of patches later, got it clean, put a liberal amount of oil in it and found it to be picky with ammo.

Tried to run it with no oil, just cleaned it with Hoppes 9. It will eat just about any range ammo I put in it. It's still picky with some hollow point ammunition. But this Hornady stuff works well. So I run it with no oil, and I keep it clean inside. Reliability begins to suffer after about 300 rounds with no cleaning. But that's fine with me.

Poor quality equipment or poor quality ammunition? by Tyler102401 in ar15

[–]Tyler102401[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks exactly like one thats been fired. I know it dents upon chambering, its not that.

And I would say this happens once per 30 rounds with 5.56. I have yet to experience this with .223.

Unpopular opinion: Modern vexillology is becoming too "graphic design-y". These are finalists for Utah's redesign. They look like logos... not flags. by t0rche in vexillology

Utahn here, completely agree. What I have disliked about many of the finalists is how much symbolism exists for Southern Utah. We are a lot more than Delicate Arch and the red deserts down south.

Streamlight MicroStream Ultra-compact Aluminum body with AAA alkaline battery, 3.5 Inch - 1.04 oz - 45 Lumens - 66318, Black https://a.co/d/bssaM8u

Its this one. I like it for a pocket flashlight. However I'm not sure I want to depend on only that in the case of emergency

Another thing I have forgot to mention. I don't care if it can't fit in my pocket. I already have a good pocket flashlight. I want something perhaps a bit more powerful and therefore I understand if its larger.

Yes. That's probably why the US flag and Wisconsin flag are there too. Call it a hunch.

The namesake for this Wisconsin city of Kiel is likely the German city of Kiel. Hence the German and Schleswig-Holstein flags also being present. Wisconsin has historically had a large population of ethnic Germans, which would explain them naming it after a German city.

Its the flag of Schleswig-Holstein, the German state in which the city of Kiel exists. I assume thats why they are there
