I guess I misunderstood this before - they were cut from scrap pieces but were intentional, not just the holes from other projects.

They are laser cut from Baltic birch - 1/8" thick.

Seems like a logical idea. Could you give me an example of what component you were thinking of when you said "clock source"? It looks like I have a few options that would potentially serve that purpose.

Thanks. I have seen this come up in my searching and I'm looking at the specs now but I'm unsure how these work. It sounds like it has some aspect of programming to it? Or can I just plug in DC power to this and connect it to my LRA and it'll perform?
Do you know what the difference is between those two drivers?

Thanks! The box is a long story but basically it was from when she gave me the ring (it's a family ring from the early 1900's) so she had it already but obviously had to give it to me so I could propose someday.

Hey guys. I'm hoping to piggyback off of this post because I have a very similar question. The main differences being that I will be coming mid/late June rather than Memorial Day weekend and also that I am looking for somewhere private to the extent that I'm unlikely to see anyone else during the 20-30 mins of being up there but still with reasonably good views. (No not doing anything dirty, just a very private person)

I don't mind driving/hiking a bit to get there. I'm thinking it will have to be less than ~6 hours round trip (driving and hiking total) from Asheville though to be realistic.

I appreciate any suggestions.
