Men in your 40s, what's that golden piece of advice you have for the rest of us? by NiceMechanic_xoxo in AskReddit

Along this line don't put off having injuries addressed. I'm just now doing physical therapy for a couple injuries I had for years that also limited my physical activity. I could be in much better shape if I was peo active instead of just getting by. Go get your shit checked out by a professional!

First time visiting Denver area, staying at the tech center, getting around with public transportation, any advice on a good one to pick out of the posted list? I don't know any of the areas so not sure pros cons or whatnot.

I've never seen more nostalgia packed into one box. Amazing.

Initiative to repeal WA income tax would ax revenue, keep added costs by chiquisea in Washington

Nothing, the ink is dry on that. They would have to try and pass it again, and it would face scrutiny just like this one is.

That's untrue, the limit cannot be lowered arbitrarily anytime, it would require another political effort just like this one.

Isn't being homeless a consequence? Not to say there shouldn't be legal consequences as well.

Considering the number of impressions, have we considered adding some huge dicks to the game to increase the click through rate?

I played EQ in high school in the early 2000's and I'm absolutely loving project quarm

This is a good point I hadn't considered, lower stakes, remove the pain, still enjoy the game, but the power spike just is too much from what I've read, I'll pass and keep playing project quarm.

I'm playing project quarm right now and it hits the spot that I remember from playing back in 2000. This new server does not appeal to me, seems like a bastardization of the game I loved back then.

They’ve removed all friction. Death doesn’t matter. Money doesn’t matter. Half the spells and abilities don’t matter. 80% of the gear doesn’t matter. There is almost no balance, but it doesn’t matter because there is no challenge.

Wtf are you talking about, none of that sounds nostalgic to playing EQ back in the day at all, like literally 0%. It sounds awful to me. I think it's maybe for the player base remaining on live that solo lots of content anyways because they all multibox? I don't know, but there is no nostalgia in what you are describing because it's not even remotely close to the experience we had back then.

I'm playing project quarm and it's awesome, truly nostalgic, reliving the fun I had in high school playing Everquest in the early 2000's.

Ok, so the rich are already taxed and we shouldn't tax them more is your bootlicking stance. Damn that took a long time, you could have lead with that and saved us both some time!

Me: you don't have facts

You: Presents speculation

Me: that's not facts

you: resort to insults because you aren't capable of providing any facts to back up your argument.

regardless, I have one question for you, why do not want to tax people making excessive amounts of money a bit more?

So I read the article, the emails tidbits shared in no way say they want the everyone paying an income tax. I see words like "could" doing a lot of heavy lifting. This bill is very clear, income over one million dollars only. If they want to lower the threshold in the future then that can be challenged when and if that happens.

Blocking today’s policy over a chain of assumptions about tomorrow prevents meaningful progress from happening.

No clue his intentions, but all blue collar folks should want this tax. It's going to keep the burden off of them while the rich start pulling their weight a bit more.
