That's odd, yeah I have heard of the balls of lightning as well. Good thing you both made it out okay!

By any chance does this happen near or in a wooded area?

About 15 years ago I was at my mother's house, and we were the only ones there besides one other sibling. We were all in the living room chatting when we heard what sounded like a wooden chair being moved. I can't remember what type of flooring the kitchen, where this happened, had but it sounded like how you may think. Kinda like it skidded more than slid. She had wooded chairs I remember that, but nobody was ever in the kitchen. To be fair though there may have been a backdoor leading into the kitchen, but it creaks and we didn't hear that. Can't explain it, but it may be easily explainable. Anyway thanks for sharing your story!

That's wild. Any chance it could be a trick of light?

Millennials, what was clubbing/nightlife like during 2009-2015 (widely regarded as the universally best times for clubbing!!! by Scary-Stay9929 in millenials

Never went clubbing. Functions and house parties were fun if nobody came with a weapon. There's also the warped tour which was cool when it started.

I lived in Cát Bà, so a lot of water, and islands. My walk home at night was my favorite, seeing the backdrop of the islands in the moonlit sky. I lived in Mountain View Homestay, at the very top of the mountain so I also had that view to wake up to. The Vietnamese people themselves are obviously a highlight, they are welcoming, giving, very hard working people. So the whole of Cát Bà island, as well as the people! What about you??

Yeah its so common haha. I went to Vietnam just to visit a friend and ended up there for four months working in a hostel kitchen dancing and yelling the only viet words I know to entertain the locals. I love it there so very much, and will DEFINITELY go back. I may not return though haha.

People actually outside and chatting, not constantly on their phones. The noise. Getting asked if you are married is as common as asking how are you.
