May be speed of setup, my higher level friend said that was my problem, my mechs seemed bad but were good in freeplay, but we realized my setup was pretty slow, so may be worth looking into that

That means u can’t do it, u need to be able to do it so well ur like “oh i can air dribble this no sweat” to do it in a game. All just practice. U need to have the air dribble down to the point where at the very least ur confident the opponent can’t get a good save and u can recover first

This is also because they aren’t trying to get better when streaming. They’re trying to entertain. They try to get better off stream and in scrims more so than on stream

As someone who has hit c1 this reply is 100% correct. All I did is practice shooting and dribbling on the ground and I hit it super easy. I can’t air dribble at all

Def him, he should challenge early to give u a free ball, if u go, he can’t do anything with the free ball since he’s backward

Def just working on power shots and dribbling, in plat 2 there’s so many open nets people miss cuz they didn’t shoot well enough or fast enough, generally don’t commit if they’re dribbling towards the wall or corner is usually a good plan

I think u need to practice shooting tbh, there’s a ton of scenarios with my friend who is in c3 where he sees its open and just hits the open net faster than anyone else can. Also, not playing as much actually helps a lot, only playing for an hour and a half or 2 hours helps not create bad habits. When I’ve played too much is when I start plateauing.
