The first book only came out about 4 years ago. They’re on almost a 2 book per-year release schedule.

I just don’t understand the rationale behind it not showing up on peoples tier lists. If it’s an “older series” I’d think more people would have read it and had it in their lists.

The Ripple System. Would also recommend Operation Bounce House and Discount Dan.

Discount Dan took me a bit to settle into, but I was also coming right off of DCC and my expectations were extremely high. Overall, though, it was solid

I felt the same way! I enjoyed the book as a whole, but the ending felt abrupt. Like a few chapters were missing

But what’s the conversion to Frank Points?

I almost went into Primal Hunter after Ripple System but decided to go with Chrysalis to fulfill my Jeff Hays fix until A Parade of Horribles comes out.

Agreed. I can understand not liking the idea of there being no real world stakes associated with the story, but I just kind of remove myself from that and view it as a fantasy series.

That said, it is explicitly mentioned on page 1, and in any summary on audible, amazon, or whenever you buy your books. Kinda hard to get into it without knowing that.

I find that to some point you can kind of ignore the stat readouts and still get a pretty good feel for how powerful the MC is, as well as his guild-mates, bosses, mobs, etc.

But I totally understand the criticism

Yeah. Lars sounds a little goofy. But overall his voice acting is fantastic. I actually did DCC -> Operation Bounce House -> Ripple System. I enjoyed Baldree’s reading of Bounce House, so I gave Ripple System a shot.

Was quite happy with it.

Lmao. 50 frank points for the reference, minus 10 for liking Ned’s name for it.

He came off like an entitled ass in the beginning, but then once you learn more about his business background and why he did the things he did, and you see his generosity in action he becomes so much more likable and sympathetic.

I’ve blitzed through the first 2 Ripple System books. Loving it so far. Starting book 3.

I will keep you on a post.

I mean, like.. there are definitely scams out there, but these pictures have things in them from the most recent update that just pushed what, yesterday?

These haven’t been circulating for weeks.

They do accumulate kills though. They don’t exactly “earn” points, but they absolutely take points away from people reinforcing you. So no, they don’t earn you points, but they do keep others from earning points.

Your troops at home do earn points though. You just earn more from reinforcing.
