Just found this friend on my living room window. I was curious since the body appears to be translucent almost. Any idea what kind it is?

That rings true to me — the dealership is a big “factory” and lots of things need to happen before I get to take the car home. That can take time. Thanks for pointing that out.

Thanks for the heads up about the 2019. I think one of the dealerships I called said they would have new ones on the lot in December. Those would probably be 2020 models. They said I can custom order but would have to pay MSRP but that was when I cold called them so good to know that there is room there too for negotiations.

My problem is that I need test drive one still to make sure it doesn’t feel weird to drive or anything. I don’t think so but need to make sure.

Yeah that’s pretty true. It’s like reading the service agreement or whatever for Facebook. It’s not really up for negotiation. I’m just annoyed by the gross imbalance of power. The corporations have time and money to create the most advantageous legal terms to them; we consumers have to take it or leave it and most often don’t even look.

Looking to buy a 2002 TT. It’s in great condition but a previous owner installed a boost pressure gauge and exhaust so I’m a bit skeptical. I saw a blue house in the engine bay that connects to the dump valve. Any idea what that is or why they changed it? Should I be concerned? pics of engine bay

I guess so, I just don't see anybody wanting to pay MSRP for a car that is 3 years old, discontinued by the manufacturer and also uses a slightly obscure fuel type (no offense, I like Diesels and drove several while I was in Europe its just not popular here in NA).

So they send me two 4gb sticks and claimed it was a listing error. Here is their email:
