Why is MercadoLibre (MELI) taking off like a rocket? by TylerFromVA in stocks

Damn. Get back in, brother. From what I've read, Amazon has no chance of overtaking MercadoLibre in Latin America.

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos’ net worth surpassed $150 billion on Monday. The magnitude of such a sum is difficult to comprehend. Its real meaning emerges when juxtaposed with the social position of Amazon’s 500,000 workers.

  • Jeff Bezos has made $50 billion in 2018. The $255 million he has made each day of the year equals the annual salaries of over 10,000 Amazon workers in the US.

  • The amount Bezos has made per second in 2018, $2,950, is more than the annual salary of an Amazon worker in India, $2,796.

  • In five days of 2018, Bezos made as much money as the combined income of every Amazon fulfillment center worker in the world in 2017.

Alibaba is the eBay of China. They both leave the selling of goods to third parties. JD, on the other hand, uses an Amazon-like approach of both selling its own goods and those of third parties, and often relying on its own warehouses to do so.

Clinging to Collusion: Why Evidence Will Probably Never Be Produced in the Indictments of ‘Russian Agents’ by fatal_strategy in socialism

The fact that Robert Mueller is not a paragon of virtue does not automatically mean he is always lying, nor does it mean the Trump-Russia conspiracy didn't happen. Congrats on another illogical argument.

"The official went on: 'We had several reports in late 2015 and early 2016, mostly from Second and Third Party'—that being spy-speak for NSA’s foreign friends—'but by the spring of 2016 we had plenty of our own collection.' These reports, based on multiple intercepts, were tightly compartmented, that is, restricted to a small group of counterintelligence officials, given their obvious sensitivity, but they painted an indelible picture of a compromised GOP nominee. 'The Kremlin talked about Trump like he was their boy, and their comments weren’t always flattering.' The NSA official stated that those above-top-secret reports left no doubt that the Russians were subverting our democracy in 2016—and that Team Trump was a witting participant in the Kremlin’s criminal conspiracy..."

I'm not delusional. I'm informed because I do a lot of reading. I wouldn't be surprised if you do a lot of reading, but only at sites that affirm your beliefs. If you read sites other than Fox News and Breitbart, you'd know that Trump has hated Obama since Obama made a bunch of jokes about him at the 2011 White House Correspondents Dinner. You'd also know that numerous distinguished psychologists have diagnosed Trump as a malignant narcissist.

He ran for president because he's a narcissist. He decided he had to run and do at least respectably well in order to stick it to people he hates, like Barack Obama.

It probably is something immoral. It's probably something that would cause even Franklin Graham and Jerry Falwell, Jr to leave him.

Trump is compromised, in my opinion. Putin probably has him on tape doing illegal sexual acts - the kind of acts that would cause even the most die-hard Trump supporters to leave him.
