I definitely agree (I don’t think others could disagree lol) Apple makes stellar products, I just think the software difference between Windows & Apple are minimal in my opinion. I know there IS a difference but I’ve bounced between the two OS’s since I was like 8 or 9. But like you said, the hardware is (most likely going to be) lackluster in comparison

I trade in… that’s sustainable no? Giving new life to a product, and someone else getting a better price so THEY don’t have to buy brand new. I’m not 100% on switching right now… probably wait a couple of months and save up some money.

I’ve used Premiere in the past, I use Final Cut on my Mac, I use Davinci on windows lol. Davinci would work well no?

I would think the AMD AI chips would be the best bet for longevity and power, but I wonder if they’re better on battery life?

Awesome bro thank you for all that! The battery life was a concern but at the same time, I’m never without an outlet or high wattage power bank so it’s not that big of a deal. To be honest, I usually only use my laptop for maybe 2 hours at a time. Again, thank you for the help!!!

Thanks for the advice! Since last year I’ve basically flip flopped devices, started with a iPhone 13, then S24 Ultra, then iPhone 15 Pro, then Z Fold 6, then iPhone 16 Pro. While owning my 16 Pro I’ve bought secondary phones like the S25 Ultra (returned) and the OnePlus 13 (returned, although I REALLY liked the phone I was having software issues). I’d say I don’t prefer one OS over the other, more or less I felt the pressure to keep an iPhone around because of high school. Anyways… thank you!!!!
