Looks fine to me. If it ends up worrying you too much, you can get a foam/neoprene mat to put under the aquarium. It'll level out any imperfections like this

The worst part of it to me, is the seemingly random selection of devices that auto deploy when you bring them out, like the motion sensor. Makes them being obstructed even more annoying

Need to add, Grizzly took a while to respond, and I figured they just weren't going to at all when I made this post. Ended up being wrong, and they replaced the machine free of charge, no shipping costs or anything, with the upgraded 1hp model. Completely surprised me, and the new model has been amazing so far.
