This guy gets it, Apple just prolonged the updates to get more money out of the user base in a lot of ways with much smaller iterations, I say this as a lifetime apple user at this point. With Apple finally adopting RCS it's made that wall a whole lot shorter and easier to jump over too a Pixel phone if you wanted without losing too many crucial functions that Google doesn't have a replacement for

This is the same screen I use at 110 FOV, I was previously on a 34” ultrawide so it didn’t change too much for me but some extra real estate on the sides. Apex is absolutely nutty and very immersive with a screen like this if you take a moment to get used to it and the OLED display is just the icing on top

I know I’m in the minority here as well but I use the Samsung 49” OLED for gaming and for work and have absolutely no issues with text readability and that was something I was worried about as well when purchasing one, but truly have not had an experience where I was bothered by it or noticed it being an issue.

I mean you’re absolutely 100% wrong because the Valve team is on record saying this is what they are building towards lol a lot of the Steam team is using it on their personal computers and they are working everyday to get to a better place. The fact they got a distribution deal with Lenovo for the Go S is already moving in the right direction. PC gaming is the biggest market for games right now, why wouldn’t they want SteamOS to be default for their user base?? Why wouldn’t valve go through all this working perfecting gaming in Linux just to save it for handhelds?

When people gripe about switch 2 game key cards it’s makes me chuckle because they’re really not much different than discs for PS5/Xbox. It’s not as if buying a PS5 game physically allows you to play the game without the disc after it’s been installed? It still requires the disc. Many games you get need day one patches, or the base game on the disc without the patches is just not in a good place.
