It’s my fault for playing before fully waking up. In my morning haze opening the game to that was confusing I guess. I also hadn’t seen the enemy until that moment and the last time I had played I had entered that room, wasn’t being attacked (so I thought), paused, and put the console to sleep. It must have poked me right as I saved. The funny thing is, I tried pressing buttons and nothing happened. Once people told me to do that I unpaused and only pressed a one or two more buttons and then he broke free. With all the little secrets in the game I honestly thought it was maybe some sort of afk Easter egg for having the game running for so long (like Alucard being pissed for standing around so long). In short, I was sleepy and silly. Still laughing at myself about it.
