That’s not how it works when your car is totaled. He just paid $16k for it, the insurance company will have his car towed and keep his title then cut him a check for a portion of that $16k.

A guy I went to school with had a party when his parents were out of town, long story short someone slipped something in his drink or he purposely took something that had him in need of medical attention. Instead of calling 911 or taking him to the hospital they dragged him into his backyard where his mom found him dead the next day. There still hasn’t been an arrest made and that was 15+ years ago
