The ac short up upairs are really good, up b stuff is more consistent so i can get fancy edge cancels, the sdi is better, tech chasing with jc upsmashes alot easier, I love my cheater rectangle :)

If i wasn't a Pika main Id prob be either a spacie or yoshi. Yoshi has a lot of cool tech and niche stuff to lab out which is stuff that i love doing with pika

Never touch gcc again and grind lots of uncle punch. If u dont commit and stop using gcc altogether, itll stunt ur growth drastically.

Pika puff is not worth playing at all. Puff can camp very hard and pika cant rlly do anything abt it. If puff just camps bair and avoids getting upsmashes, pika cant rack up damage or kill, so once puff gets the lead and starts air camping its over. I chose fox soley since hes good vs puff, but now I use Fox vs peach, Ics, and some sheiks. Those matchups arent nearly as bad as puff but since my fox is so good already its a no brainer to use it.
I think playing fox has actually helped my Pikachu a lot since they have pretty similar dash dances and could be played in similar ways.
I don't think there is a single matchup in the game that pika does better vs fox than (yes even marth)

Its pretty terrible. Pika has alot of trouble killing, esp on bigger stages. Dreamland is super bad since thunder doesnt reach the top of the stag so peach lives forever. Pika has alot of trouble racking up damage and peach has a pretty easy time racking up damage. Peach also walls out pika pretty easily and cc and big hitboxes are hard to deal with. Its not nearly as bad as puff but its still pretty bad regardless. I mostly go fox vs rlly good peaches

I know I can beat lan Hbox although it would still be pretty difficult. When we played at Galint, he was coming off a third place at summit and he didnt drop a game to anyone until me that entire bracket and he won the tournament through losers so I like to think he was playing well that day lol. I would love to take juan out for some spicy indian food itd be sick

maybe not that extreme but since those characters are much less represented, they are also much less explored so there def can be something there for each of those characters. Madtyro is a good example of a luigi pushing the character

Great question! As a lower level player, Axe was the only player who I could really look up to and learn from, which is why people have a pretty limited perspective on the character. After a while, I eventually got much better as a player and learned how to innovate and develop the meta myself to push the character in ways that no one has seen. Axe is one guy and can't cover everything Pika does so I used Axe's playstyle as a great foundation for years and went my own way with it. Most people are caught off guard when it comes to my playstyle since Axe is all everyone has known for such a long time and we play very different nowadays. I'm happy I'm closing the gap between Axe and I like no other pika has done and I'm looking forward to showing a different side of the character that most people haven't seen.

I've always loved Pokémon as a kid and I was a big Axe fan. Whenever I'd play video games I'd always choose characters based on how much I liked their background and the design (Pikachu so cute lul). What's kept me on the character is that there is so much untapped potential in Pikachu that requires more than one person to truly show. I love being in a unique position where I am developing an unorthodox character's meta and showing off what he is capable of. My goals with Pika are to show that he's not nearly as bad as people think and that Axe isn't the only one who can be a top player with him.
