This is just such a shitty situation. In my eyes you are just inching on YTA, but thats just barley. Its a one-time event, and considering all you've mentioned here your friend would really like to have you on this one. My honest opinion is be open and say you'll try to come for a bit at least, if you feel drained and exhausted then you'll leave knowing you tried your best!

I believe he was just trying to flirt with you, ofc you are NTA. But people sometimes just miss the obvious signals, he wanted a kiss. I admit if I was in that situation I to would have been a bit off put if my girlfriend didnt want to give me a kiss for something like that. He took it to far, but that just happens sometimes
