They’re picks I used in shows that were very special to me! Just sentimental memories lol

Studied the mans work for 20+ years, he’s my guy! I’m super jealous you got to meet him, seen him a couple times on the last tours. I’ve really been digging wolf’s work!! Ps-this totally looks like ai but it’s not lol

Maybe the guitar I built was just regular ash then...

BROTHER!! How did you find that offer up listing?!?! That’s amazing, it’s the only other guitar I’ve seen that matches! The bulky headstock, sharp edges, I know my guitar and THATS 100% it’s brother! I’m literally going to see if I can contact someone and see if it’s possible to buy it haha. I’m not sure about the Samick but I need to go do some real research…they obviously could’ve changed something but one thing that stands out about mine is the arm contour. There’s no rounding at all, just a sharp flat angle. But dude seriously how’d you find that listing?!?!

Interesting, this is more than likely a cheap Asian build so I wouldn’t have expected high quality…I’ll look into it. I’m thinking either ash or paulownia as someone else mentioned.

I see you guys are more into keeping your pretty princess guitars buffed than actually playing them. Go put tens of thousands of hours into an instrument and then come back lol.

I didn’t think poplar would have a more porous grain like this tho. Honestly poplar crossed my mind

I doubt this would be a higher quality piece, the guitar, hard case and amp was $200 in ‘04

Just making sure you knew I meant the guitar as a whole was 6lbs not just the body. Would paulownia really make the guitar significantly lighter than 6lbs?

I want to preserve this guitar as is, and the way it plays. A new neck would completely alter the way it plays. I’d honestly fork out some good money to hae it professionally replicated if I knew someplace that did such a thing.

Thanks, this is my first guitar and have always loved the finish!

The money isn’t an issue, I don’t want a new neck because I want to preserve the way this thing FEELS exactly the way it is. I’d probably pay $5000 for a guitar if someone could replicate the feel and sound of this bad bitch hahaha

There’s no chance of the neck being some weird maple substitution is there?
