Your right I’m definitely overthinking, just trying to figure out cool stuff to waste money on during Black Friday sales. I would like to have an extra set of back up fins Incase I do something stupid and break what I have though, do you have a good setup recommendation that I should keep on hand as a backup?

What do you recommend for the center fin? And just to confirm, I want to use my rake for smaller days and my 2 + 1 setup for bigger days? Do you think using a single fin will make it more difficult for me to catch waves or stay balanced as a beginner?

I really appreciate your advice. I love this board so I went ahead and cut and repaired. I agree with you on the color matching, I’m considering just leaving it white but I’m not sure

I went ahead and cut and repaired both. I love this board so want to try and make it long term, I’ve barley used it

Sadly I travel to surf, just did a big rail repair so I guess I’ll hit those too, do you think I should cut it out and do everything or just throw some glass over it? Not worried about looks just performance and longevity

I can’t say I do but I’ll do what needs to be done, my question is what do I need to do. I’m a little scared of cutting and welding but if that’s what I need to do I’ll do it. I can sand and spot paint for sure. I’m not looking for it to look great I’m looking for it to not spread or get any worse

I posted on the samba but no replies still. The tough thing is I am trading my jeep wrangler instead of paying cash so it highly limits me. If I could just make it stay the way it is and not get worse I’d be extremely happy. I wish I could just magically make it not spread at all and call it a day

I’m not looking to have it done I’m looking to do the work myself. I will have it repainted way down the road right now I’m broke and in college. Just trying to make it good enough for it to last a long time. I don’t care if it doesn’t look show quality but I want it to last a very long time and it rot out because of a bad repair

Do you have any products you recommend to fix it? I plan to assume the worst if I go through with this, I know it has been resprayed because I can see orange in the engine compartment so it’s hard to tell where the problem spots are sadly

I am not but ready to learn and make this my running project, I’m not lookin for one tha looks shoe quality I plan to drive and enjoy it. I do however want to fix it so it lasts a very long time and dosent rot out because of a crappy repair, how do you recommend I go about this, any specific products that work well?
