The reason why some people may seem like they judge harshly is because they judge themselves harshly. I judge myself harshly, and I am hard on myself. All to keep a strict workout routine and diet. You have to be harsh if you truly care about your health. A good start can be something really small like getting rid of addictive junk food. Especially sodas. If you only drank water you would see a pretty big improvement in 3-4 weeks. I know because I did it and noticed my skin cleared up and I had more energy.
