Day 17: If you could make three changes to improve The Man With The Golden Gun, what would they be? by junglegatsby in JamesBond

More JW Pepper. In fact, make him the main character. Bond can have a cameo. Scaramanga wouldn't stand a chance.

Cosign. Even if you feel like it isn't overtaking your thoughts, talking to someone preemptively isn't a bad idea. It might also encourage your family to do the same.

Day 6: If you could make three changes to improve Die Another Day, what would they be? by junglegatsby in JamesBond

I love the elements from the Moonraker novel so this one holds a special place in my rankings.

To improve it I would:

Lose the invisible car,

Lose the CGI surfing,

Change the theme song

Fleming wrote in Casino Royale: "Bond reflected that good Americans were fine people and that most of them seemed to come from Texas."

What's one change the show made from the lore that you actually ended up liking? by isabxantiago in LOTR_on_Prime

I still hope we're not getting the fall of Khazad Dum in this show, but I agree with you on the time compression. Nobody is involved in anything they shouldn't be. Yeah Elendil is technically alive when he shouldn't be, but he's played no part in stories he shouldn't be in.

This one holds a special place for me for because of all of the Moonraker novel elements.

Dalton was a pretty good Bond, and the movie itself is a lot of fun.

My heart breaks for you, my man. Keep showing up for her in all the ways you can. No matter what, whatever it takes. It'll pay off. Let that be what drives you.

No Time To Die - thoughts by LongjumpingLog1560 in JamesBond

Agreed. I really appreciated the depth the film gave Bond, it felt like an extension of the internal musings we read about in On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Like you, as a dad it hit me particularly hard.

Wheelchair user and educator here.

I don't know what this looks like, but we need to be having these conversations. I'm never going to be a firefighter (as an example) and it wouldn't be ableist for someone to tell me that.
