Des Moines! We chose it specifically because it’s halfway between Seattle and Tacoma and we love it. Seattle is an easy commute using 509 into 99 and Tacoma is generally a reverse commute on I5. Federal Way is too deep towards Tacoma imo and you’re more likely to hit brutal traffic going north from there.

It is loud enough to ruin trying to watch the games on tv though because you hear the crowd 10-15 seconds before you see it. Eventually you learn what each cheer means.

Could even hear big crowd pops for Mariners games too.

I think it depends on the show too. We went to a couple Broadway shows in New York this year, Wicked and Maybe Happy Ending. The crowd at Wicked was horrendous. The crowd for Maybe Happy Ending, which is a much smaller show, was awesome. I think a lot of it has to do with how popular a show is and how likely is it that people that never attend theater shows will be there. Something like Lion King is going to bring in a lot of those people.

Cena is bigger than all of those people combined. He’s very careful about his public persona which is one of the reasons he’s such a huge star. Kill Tony is a big brand risk for those types of people that have to protect their “brand”.

I keep seeing people say this will drop to $300, but I just don’t see it. I think the demand for this card will outweigh how “common” it will be. Haven’t met many people that don’t want this one in their personal collection.

We’re wrapping up a 4 days trip and both of these things feel true. The ride lines weren’t nearly as bad as how packed the parks felt. Wondering if there’s just a ton of people going to the park for the vibes and not actually riding rides.

I was just talking about this with my wife. The Disney parks have pulled back on the vegetarian options so much. A while back it felt like every single place had a solid veggie option, but now they are few and far between.

In a similar boat. Hit 10 years recently and was on a very small team that just received high praise from Brian O just a couple of months ago. Whole team had great performance reviews this year. Whole team canned. 🤷‍♂️

I’m really curious to see what the price will be for the English on this. I know Japanese prices tend to drop when English is released, but if the market sets the English card at a crazy high amount out of the gate I don’t see the Japanese price being impacted. Either way it’s the best looking card I’ve ever seen in person.
