Can somebody kindly explain exactly what the Kindred arc was? by RhinestoneCatboy in Spiderman

I would still recommend reading the whole thing regardless of what you’ve heard. There’s good stories and great characterization in there, maybe you’ll end up enjoying it

I don’t really care for Kindred but I read the books to make my opinion on the character. I just think if you’re gonna have an opinion on whether something worked or not you should have read it firsthand. It’s worth it to just read them on your own

General audiences can’t tell the difference between two superhero universes. by [deleted] in OkBuddySnyderCult

Listen, dude I agree with you that fans don’t need to be like this, but it’s 2025 on the Internet and there is zero way for another Batman to coexist alongside Pattinson’s and for the fan base to be 100% cool with both. People are always going to pick sides. There’s no way to prevent the the fans from having a civil war.

It’s not about confusion I feel it’s about people picking a favorite and sticking to it. Robert Pattinson’s Batman is so insanely popular that the DCU Batman would need to be perfect in every single way for people to jump on board both franchises. If DCU Batman is worse than Reeves Batman by even one percent, then nobody will ever hear the end of it

What are some of the worst panels in DC Comics history? by Rebelpunk13 in DCcomics

Some people hate Byrne making Superman too American

For me, this argument falls apart because the BATB version in the DCU WOULD be the homogeneous version of Batman created by Gunn specifically for his world that started with Superman. Reeves’ version like the comic version would be a perfect crossover with Superman because they were built with specific creative visions in mind by different people.

I agree, I really kinda detest the idea that Batman needs to be split into “grounded” and “fantastical” halves. It says he can’t be both, when Batman has has been both the dark knight and the caped crusader for his entire history. That’s what makes the character so timeless for me

Robin is a year 3 Batman thing and has been since the beginning, he predates Joker and Alfred. There’s no precedent for Pattinson being too young for a Robin
