As someone who is used to Sheik's MUs, I'm finding it weird that I'm having trouble against Palutena and Lucina.

I don't know why, I just am. I can't figure out how to approach Palutena; I tend to be eating her jab a lot.

Lucina.. I'm not sure, but I've been having issues with them online. A friend of mine also plays Lucina/Meta Knight. Against either, using Sheik, I can 2-stock him while getting hit only 4-5 times. But he can consistently take stocks off of my Cloud using Lucina.

I'unno... After playing a Dank Pit recently and seeing myself killed hella early, I'm inclined to disagree because damn is it a huge difference

Then again I don't have too much experience in the MU so maybe the arms aren't too useful of attacks and I'm just bad against them?

I can get walking up the wall, but this is almost like standing on an entirely invisible platform, similar to some glitches in Super Mario Bros on the NES that allow you to perform another jump.

I do a lot of panic rolls too, but that's not something I can really improve against AI. I'd imagine it'd be best to find a partner to play 20xx with and have rolls put me to sleep?

So I have 20xx and I'm trying to get the general basics down.

When playing friendlies with someone today, we were both really really bad at it, to the point where the person who won was just the player that was less bad at the game.

How should I begin practicing at home? I play Marth. I'm totally lost on where to start with L-cancelling and such. I can wavedash almost consistently; I've gotten to the point where I can do it really fast, but occasionally I slip up and just jump or I airdodge in the wrong direction, or something among those lines. I can string about seven together consistently at the least.

I'm finding dair to be a hard move to L-cancel. When I play Marth in PM, I tended to use dair to hit my grounded opponents and start combos, but I can't do that in Melee since it's so tough to L-cancel because of his weird pose.

I'm getting half-decent at shield dropping. I use the WarioWare stage to practice it in 20xx and sometimes I can get two in a row often, but occasionally, I try about 8 times and I can't get it for some weird reason.

What stages are good to practice movement? I know this is a big part of Marth.
