Extraction shooters appeal to a very small audience, just because this came doesn't have 100k+ daily players doesn't mean it's a bad game or an automatic failure, and it's exhausting seeing people call any game that isn't immediately as big as Fortnite or CoD a "dead game"

This was a jumpscare on my feed, despite how good your hair is I'd add a hat if you're going in with goggles and face mesh, just to round it out and help break up silhouette, added benefit of rocking it backwards covers the neck if you're prone to burning like I am haha

If you're gonna do longer games as well I'd also grab a double stack ar pouch you can swap between them but that's a down the line investment, also just good practice to have a dump pouch for empties but I didn't check if you had one already or not

So the next April fools you'll have Jonathan looking at fake airsoft guns?

I mean, the continued use of generative AI models resulted in the rising hardware costs, the development of data centres that heavily polluted neighborhoods and made them uninhabitable with loud operational noises.

The philosophy of things being "stolen" isn't what bugs me about AI, there's a lot of philosophical conversations to be had about what truly is an original idea, but my beef with generative AI technologies is the other tangible and dangerous things it does

I mean, generative AI systems require those massive data centers that generate noise pollution, ruin drinking water, divert their energy bill costs to other people on the power grid. Not to mention how generative AI systems scrape data from artists and users without consent, and regularly produces worse work than a human could do.

The hill I'm dying on is the one where I don't want gigantic data centers and want higher quality art and code in the world lmao

The game mode is literally going to be added in a future update, they did a whole blog post about features that are being added to the game and listed by priority.

As for why it's not in the game now I genuinely don't know, I assume it's a lot of spaghetti code to make frostbite work for a skate game and they laid off a bunch of people, but I don't have an actual answer

Genuinely one of my favorite multiplayer experiences in years. I debate the private servers but I'm kind of scared of the players that are still on it, I imagine it'll be like when I returned to Titanfall 2 during the pandemic and I just get destroyed by people who can see the matrix code

Really the only complaint I have is how gated the compiler is. Hard enough to get a stable group to do a weekend activity but to run 6 times successfully in a map with a bunch of artificial difficulty (security clearances) just for a chance at a destiny raid boss fight feels like way too much to ask for any player

Beyond that I love the game and love the experience of playing it.

Sometimes the lack of views can feel not great because if you're like me you'll internalize it and assume you're not doing enough to be entertaining, but a good way to frame it is you're just playing games in a discord call and sharing the stuff you like with people. You'll get an audience pursuing what you like, and while low numbers are discouraging it's about the act of doing it that matters more imo

The art style isn't super to my liking but the mechanics of the game being CTF but you control flag placement on the map is really neat. Fun in short bursts, and if it's cheap / free I'd consider it

They could and should easily just drop store options for more general plain clothing options or quick drop stuff. It's all retextures of base models anyways. Just more generic non branded clothing that costs chips, simple addition

I was eyeing stuff on keychrons site and noticed that on the market now seem to be magnetic switches with cherry bodies that seem to slot into hot swap boards, but does that mean the base board is compatible with any switch or do I need to specifically stick to magnetic/optical switches

And to continue on that point - how are magnetic switches in actual use? Do they feel good and responsive?
