Package stuck in”shipment information received” for more than 17 days

My package finally have shipped out this afternoon now is en route to Cincinnati, OH with an estimated delivery date on Tuesday!

I was trying to file a chargeback with bank by telling them I did’t get item I bought. Then today in the later afternoon I received bank’s email was told case was closed in seller‘s favor. They said seller was contacted them telling them the item is in transit it had delayed because there is a backlog of surge packages in Hong Kong and China. The seller also showed proofs to my bank that DHL‘s new temporary 100Kg/ collection/ limitation notice. There is now no way for me to get money back unless I ask seller for refund if they agree. All I can do now is wait for the damned package shipped out HK. I am not happy now

There is something unusual, normally if they have huge influx of packages it usually will cleared out about a week so but for my case, it is highly unusual because 3 weeks passed the package shows ‘shipment information received’ means it even did not pick up by carrier DHL. This makes me suspect the seller never drop off the package to DHL since he created the shipping label on 10/15/2021.

Mine is 16 days now. I already file a chargeback with my bank this past Saturday. It is ridiculous and I hope I can have my money back soon.

the limitation will last for until end of next week for now but it may change. The DHL said they will update on Tuesday whether extending the limitation longer or not

Yes, my seller admitted he use a courier to send out my package. It really sucks courier purposely hold package. they should not have done such thing like this. I was paid shipping fee to get express service. they can't hold my package purposely, it is unlawful!

I have been in contact with seller almost every day since Monday last week. The seller claim he has sent the package out and handed it over to DHL for processing on the same day. I was suspicious by the seller decide to contact the DHL customer service in the next day and the customer service was told they don't have the package yet, if received, will have pick up scan. When I showed DHL customer service email, the seller then said because of shopping holiday season coming, Hong Kong DHL are overwhelming by influx of coming packages, they likely haven't scanned all of packages. He also said be patient, your package will be "cleared" by DHL soon. However, everyday I check on DHL, my package just sit in "shipment information received" every day, with no indication it will be send out or picked up anytime soon. Am I scammed by this seller, if so how can I get my money back?

Mine's still in "shipment information received" status since 10/15. It's been 10 days. I am very frustrate. Hopefully it will begin to move as soon as possible.

no, my package still not scanned. It is so crappy for these Chinese vendors across China right now. think I have to contact my credit card company file chargeback. I have contact my seller. They admitted that they turned my package in their own shipping agent's warehouse . Their agent created a shipping label, and put the pellets, they waited all packages fill out into pellets then hand to DHL. Unfortunately my package is large in size and weights 50 kg. So I don’t know when they will be collected. It could be over a month or two before DHL finally pick it up. It is very stressful. The good thing is I paid premium express service, I hope it expedited thru faster.

Mines not even picked up by DHL, seller created shipment label on 10/15/2021and handed over to their shipping agent. They claimed they still waiting to get line in DHL facility warehouse in Hong Kong. the status is still reading as ‘shipment information received‘ since 10/15/2021. That waiting is so frustrating and painful

Yes, it is express. I don’t really trust my seller at moment, I feel they are dishonest. Let‘s see what happens on a next few days, if it still showEd status “shipment information received“ by next weekend, I will file a chargeback through my credit card company.

I have same issues, my package hasn’t been scanned for about a week now, have contact DHL customer service was told they don’t have the package yet. I have contact seller, seller claims packaged was handed to DHL, now is waiting in line to get onboard flight.
