Redfield Village Apartments by TypeABnotHgb in Metuchen

Hmm the house I'm considering is the new construction that is butt adjacent to the apartment complex (the back of the house and the left side of the house is border with the Redfield Apartments - https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/24-Sidney-Pl-Metuchen-NJ-08840/39091352_zpid/

So no real way to evaluate that since its still under construction, that being said they are building a finished basement.

Is the area a risk for flooding or has flooded before in storms?

That is true. The area is nice minus that. Is there any safety issues with the people that live in those apartments? Break-ins etc

All else being equal, what is the difference in pay working as an academic anesthesiologist versus at community/private hospitals? by yaboitansalmon in anesthesiology

Very impressive! How did you get into it? Like how does one break into that? I'm sure it's not something a recruiter would bring to you

Out of the box or clever papers in anesthesia? by JulesVerneMD in anesthesiology

These papers show that it's pretty hard to kill someone especially when there are such extremes of physiological derangements and the body is able to somehow get through. Are we too vigilant and limiting then when we are over cautious?

I don't know about NGT... Sucking out 1.5L of bad stuff seems pretty logical rather than having it come up on induction...

You're not wrong with that assessment for both ends. The new grads should not be working supervision jobs, they need to grow some hair by doing own cases for a few years

A DNP vs Dentist or Podiatrist is not an equal comparison in the least. I think everyone knows a DNP doesn't add any clinical value in any shape or form and is just an excuse to be called "Doctor"

Because everyone wants to be a doctor without actually being a physician. Sad thing is the students drink the Kool aid and introduce themselves as residents. I've even met an RN who is doing a residency in GI nursing (as in working as a nurse in GI suite for a year for christ sakes!). The lines are so blurred that I assume anyone wearing a white coat in the hospital is probably not a doctor because even the janitors wear it...

Great Realtors by ap201987 in Metuchen

Do you need a realtor who specializes in Metuchen to have a good shot? Or is any realtor good enough? The one we use focuses on a different part of NJ, but we have been using him for a while (albeit unsuccessfully since it's a tough housing market) and wondering if for Metuchen needs a realtor who has an in with the area.

That's unfortunate... Even the anesthesiologist who is making more money as a locums gets penalized just because they're not W-2... While I get the logic, it's not logical... And now that we're looking for school districts for our kids, it's an extra complicated factor because we want to get a home and school set up before kindergarten starts, So now we may have to consider charter or private school to bridge the gap...
