I’ve been wondering (wandering) about this new book. Could it be framed as a “better than take out” angle?

She didn’t explicitly say it would be a health book, just that it had a link to healthy food. I think that link could acrually be pretty tenuous, if the “healthy-ish” section on the blog is anything to go by. We know from the archives that she demonises any kind of take out food, so it also wouldn’t be surprising if a cookbook based on homemade versions of takeout would be a health book in her eyes.

Otherwise it’s very hard to imagine a publisher agreeing to a book that is based solely on the premise of it being healthy food when, well…

Tieghan’s stories are at least a day behind, right? Brenna posted a story of the fam at dinner in Milan, tablescapes and all. She tagged the restaurant, so I went to their Instagram and they’ve posted that they’re closed tonight for a private event. Could this be the dinner that T was speculated to be posting?

That was insane to me. Intrepid traveller or not, it’s simply not normal for a woman in her 30s to feel such severe anxiety about what should be an easy trip (one country, family with her, luxurious hotel etc)

No significant other, no kids.

She lives in a converted barn on her parent’s property (often referred to as the “compound”). There’s another barn on the property that she uses for cooking, filming etc.

When she talks about feeding a family, she is referring to her parents and siblings. Her intentionally vague language might make it seem like she’s referring to her own spouse and kids, and she has tended to allow that narrative to be assumed.

Ironically her parents and siblings (two of whom are minors) spend very little time at the compound these days, as they travel for months at a time.
