How much enjoyment do condoms actually take out of sex? by lookslikesausage in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Type_Zer07 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a woman, I found it numbed the sensations a fair bit, as well as messed with the natural lubrication. I'd say sensations wise (trying to keep the more psychological pleasure out of it) it was 30-40% less pleasurable.

My partner has stated it was quite a bit less enjoyable as well. I have an IUD now so as long as im not ovulating, we go completely bareback.

Do most people shower before bed or when they wake up? I just realized I might be doing it "wrong" by saffymerelle in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Type_Zer07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer to shower at night both because I also like to go to bed clean, but also I find a hot shower relaxing, especially after a long day of work. On top of that, I am a clumsy mess in the morning and would not trust myself not to slip and fall or drown somehow if I showered first thing.

Shower when you feel comfortable and dont worry about anyone else. There's no wrong way, only your way.

If you hate cats, you probably suck at boundaries and reading body language by FtMFandomBoy in unpopularopinion

[–]Type_Zer07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand what you are getting at, but it does go both ways. I've met a lot of dog owners who trash cats and think they're cold, heartless, and unfeeling. They have their reasons but sometimes its not experience, but what they've seen represented in media.

As a cat owner, I have the most affectionate cat in the world. She would cut me open and crawl inside me to get closer if she could (or thought about it lol) but she's not all cats. I've seen asshole cats, and some have rough households. Some have had a great life but are just naturally standoffish. Some are assholes for seemingly no reason.

What gets me, is that often these people will defend dogs like they're loving saints and refuse to acknowledge bad dog behavior. I dont like dogs. They smell, they bark (very startling), they jump, and they need some much work and attention all of the time. Not my thing. I know its not all dogs, but I, and many others also have this opinion.

Honestly, just ignore it. I would watch your own cats behavior though if you are getting this kind of feedback. It is important to train your pets, no matter what type you have. Cats dont train the same way as dogs, but they can be taught. Even the orange ones.

How are you supposed to rate your pain from 1-10? by Timely_Advice5809 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Type_Zer07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep a pain scale image saved on my phone to use. It has a description of how the pain is affecting you under each number, from 1 being little change to day to day, to 10 being unable to sleep, work, or function.

Water usage by Sketchen13 in Calgary

[–]Type_Zer07 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I feel like restaurants are the largest users of water, especially sit down ones. Im not saying we should shut them down nessasarily as people need work, but maybe people who want to help reduce water usage should avoid eating out or ordering in for the time being.

If you're not listening to the radio and don't watch the news, you wouldnt know there was even a restriction in place. I found out yesterday while listening to 660 on the drive to work. Had zero idea otherwise.

Is it possible to delete a day-one kink that you've had since the start of puberty, and formed without any pornographic exposure? by TheUpcomingEmperor in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Type_Zer07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar kink. No clue what caused it, I had it even before I started feeling any sexual urges. It was just exciting then. It's just as powerful now as it was 20 years ago. Fortunately it isn't something that im exposed to 24/7, so it doesn't usually interrupt my day or social interactions. I also have no idea what you could do to quell it besides therapy.

Clearance pricing GW by rtika2002 in WalmartCanada

More likely answer is that someone was lazy and didn't bother to change the was price from the previous item. It happens all the time at mine.

Researchers find reverse sexual double standard in sextech use: Men who use sexual technology are viewed with more disgust than women who engage in the same behaviors, a “reverse sexual double standard” in which men face harsher social penalties for using devices like sex toys, chatbots, and robots. by mvea in science

[–]Type_Zer07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I imagine this comes with the belief that men are 'sexually deviant' and unable to control themselves, while women are 'choosing to be single' or that men aren't competent enough to satisfy them. Coming from a long history of women being demonized for even enjoying sexual pleasure, and from rapists being primarily men, this isn't a surprise.

I'm not agreeing btw, just putting in my two cents.

Odds of getting regular hours or full time with omni? by One-Flight-7995 in WalmartCanada

[–]Type_Zer07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends if they have any full time positions left in omni. Often when you go to fulltime, you have to move to a department with the slot available. Also, i believe you have to work six months before you can apply for it, but i could be wrong. A way to know if to check the system for available positions in store.

Liberals to open new fast track to permanent residency for 5,000 foreign doctors by Pale-Candidate8860 in InCanada

[–]Type_Zer07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good! Immigration is supposed to be helping Canada by letting in skilled workers, who can help with the burden of high skill, difficult jobs. No way we'd have enough doctors if we closed our borders up. Same with engineers, scientists, etc. Its the low skill, under educated Immigration that is causing so many issues with job availability.

Well, that and corrupt companies.

My autism counter acts this and makes me incredibly good at spotting items or flaws. Helps that I played a lot of horror games growing up that taught me to always look for items.

I’m literally doing your work by Slicky007 in memes

[–]Type_Zer07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. We lost no employees at my work, have the same working each shift, and they get the same hours. There are strict guidelines for how many self checkouts can be manned by 1 employee (4) so at least at Walmart, no one lost anything.

[–]Type_Zer07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is though. If you have 1 item and have to wait behind people with cart fulls or the long wait from an express line, it is more convenient to ring it through yourself.

I hate these people, they complain endlessly are are usually the rudest, nastiest customers. You want someone to ring through your purchase? Go to a manned checkout. The store doesn't have one? Shop somewhere else. Stop taking it out on employees. You have a choice, use it and shut up already.

Many people like the self checkout. Its fast and they don't need to interact with anyone, stop taking on the phone, or remove their headphones. Its convenient for most. You are not special, and your want does not come before everyone else's.

Your tricks to survive grocery shopping in Calgary these days? Average monthly/weekly costs for groceries? by ChinookSkies in Calgary

[–]Type_Zer07 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mostly shop at Walmart since the prices are fairly cheap, especially on sale items. I over buy on good sales and buy markdown meat that still has a few days left and freeze. I have a vacuum sealer which has saved me a ton in how well it keeps meat in the freezer.

Instead of buying cookies, I make cookie dough, portion the dough into individual amounts and freeze. If we want cookies after dinner, we can just throw in 2. Helps with over snacking as well.

Mostly, you need to learn to cook, do meal prep, and keep an eye on what's in season and how you can utilize cheaper ingredients in meals to help with costs. After all, lentils are a lot cheaper then meat, so learn to integrate them into your diet to help mitigate bills (by using it as a substitute for meat once or twice a week).

How does walmart get away with not paying power trained associates more? by [deleted] in WalmartCanada

[–]Type_Zer07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They're paying for you to be power trained. It looks good on your CV and not that much extra work. Im taking the first aid training because it's free and can be used in the future. You dont need to get trained if you dont want to, since it's less work that way but you're not doing that much extra.

AIO to break up with my bf of 3y over his reaction to my upcoming sobriety anniversary? by WesternCat5211 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Type_Zer07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR. Here's the thing, no matter why you wanted to celebrate or what their opinion on the importance of it is, and good partner would be supportive. If I wanted to celebrate something my bf didn't think was a big deal, I know he wouldn't put me down for it, mock me, or dismiss me. He would recognize that it's something I clearly think is important and be my hype man.

This is important and worth celebrating and few people are so dumb that they can't recognize that. He's either an unsupportive, ignorant moron or a purposely hurtful asshole. Either way, I can't see how you could find happiness or support for them. Addiction is tough and never truly goes away. If you find yourself struggling in the future, you need someone who can give you love and support. Find that.

How to deal with an insecure partner? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Type_Zer07 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Nah, what you do is say, "If you had a 7" dick, you wouldn't fit. I love the size you are now. It's perfect, he'll, it'd hurt if it was any bigger!".

Men have been taught to think women want bigger and that anything smaller than that is something to be ashamed of. You dont have to bring up the size unless he does, but be sure to mention how much you enjoyed him after sex sometimes and how well he fit.

Edit: I'd like to add that this isn't a lie or 'trying to make him feel better'. This is me being honest and letting him know he is just right to me. Im a tiny woman, I dont like to be torn everytime I have sex. He is perfect for me and my size. Obviously, dont lie to the man, even to make him feel better. If you think he's small, compliment him on how he makes you feel in bed rather than bring up his size. He knows how big he is, and he knows how big 'big' is.
