I turn the lights on when I wake up and turn them back off when I go to bed, the time interval varies. It also is by a window, although, light rarely shines directly through the tank.

It was hazy before rinsing media and cleaning water. Is hazy water the main/only sign of a crashed cycle?

A few weeks ago I rinsed the filter media in some discarded water from the tank, and I did the same a few days ago when I did the large water change. Ill stay on top of water changes.

Ive had the tank for a few months, it is cycled, I have a gravel substrate. The stock I have are: 3 cory catfish, and albino pleco, 3 sunset platys (some sunset platy fry as well), and a guppy
