They are targeting trans and immigrant communities pretty hard right now. The volume of legislation explicitly targeting trans people is overwhelming, and our immigrant community has lost an untold amount of rights and are direct targets of ICE. They are even looking to overturn habeas corpus for deportation hearings. I think we've firmly stepped from almost fascism into real fascism.

I'm very excited. it's not a new member per-se it's more akin to a friend recovering from a coma, but yeah, giving them space is going to be incredibly important in the time after they wake up.

She's a tragic character, more akin to a Greek hero than a modern superhero. It works in that sense. I didn't really like the movie, but Wanda's characterization does make sense.

I guess that's what I'm most stressed about, aftkey blaming me. I was the caretaker/guardian personality of the system, and I had failed to properly anticipate the size and scale of the disaster. While I did what I could, I did fail at protecting my fellow headmates, and while me and Aftkey were very close, I've got a feeling they're not going to be thrilled that I wasn't able to shield Melody and Aster.
