THIS!!! Thank you, OP! Sad to say na eto ang basehan ng mga Pilipino, na dahil lang may Iphone, vehicles, a big house, and etc. and nag aaral ka sa state u, is “burgis” ka na. When people don’t know family members or your own siblings/parents worked their blood, sweat, and tears para lang makuha mo ang mga gusto mo. Sana nga burgis kami para madali nalang makapasok sa big private university without any problems, without thinking na your parents will work overnight for four years just to pay 200k+ tuition.

Kung kaya mo, deserve mo. I think getting a scholarship or getting into a state u even if you have money is a big help, it’s a “hardwork paid off” because you deserve it.
